Being allergic to many ingredients and therefore not able to wear any scents, the actress Eva Longoria Parker decided to create her own perfume.
The Desperate Housewife said that she had always been envious of other women who could wear many different perfumes.
“I always admired people who wore perfume – I was like, ‘Gosh, I wish I could wear one. My agent said, ‘Why don’t you make one?’ ” told her to the journalists.
“I’ve been allergic my entire life. If someone were wearing perfume next to me, I would sneeze and sneeze and sneeze.
The perfume is called Eva by Eva Longoria Parker and was officially launched at her Beso restaurant in Los Angeles.
The actress branded the scent as a “day fragrance”, with warm, citrusy tones.
Longoria concluded: “I wanted something clean and fresh. Something that smelled like you just got out of the shower. And that’s how I came up with the scent.”
